I am a developer for GOV.UK at the Government Digital Service. I also run my own web design agency. Between 2009 and 2011 I was the lead developer for CF Labs at Consumer Focus. Take a look at some of the things I've helped build.
Hereford Sixth Form College
A redesign of the existing website to match the new corporate branding. The site provides a more detailed version of the printed prospectus along with regularly updated information for current students. The updated website is also linked to the college's social media profiles to allow staff to publish news, job vacancies & important notices easily.

Recalled Products
The RecalledProducts.org website has recently been updated to include a refreshed design and new functionality including automated tagging of items, updated statistics, and a history of every change made to each notice.

StayPrivate.org
A new version of the popular service that brings together various marketing opt-out services into one place. This latest update adds in additional opt-out services, opens registration to businesses and allows registration of relatives.

Consumer Focus: Energy Supplier Performance
A system for publishing ratings of the complaints handling performance of the big six energy suppliers. The system publishes a quarterly rating and monthly data for each of the suppliers. All data is available to download in CSV & JSON formats under the Open Government Licence.

Community Post Offices
A new service to map post offices operated by and for communities using data commissioned by the Community & Public Services Team at Consumer Focus. The service shows where community post offices are located and what services they provide. The data is also published under the Open Government Licence in JSON format.

Crickhowell Walking Festival 2011
A new website for the 2011 walking festival based around the Powys town of Crickhowell. The website allows the festival organisers to publish details of the walk programme and supporting events alongside the latest festival news.

Crickhowell Community Website
A redesign of the existing website with a complete rebuild of the business directory that powers a large portion of the website. Community groups can update their own page content, events calendar and upload important documents. Google Maps has been integrated to the site and new pages for each of the community councils within the Crickhowell Area.

Consumer Focus Website
The first phase of the Consumer Focus website project involved convering the site from the existing ASP.Net proprietary CMS to Wordpress. This work was completed in January 2010. The second phase involved developing a refreshed template and content structure to take full advantage of Wordpress core features.

CF Labs Website
In September we launched a new template for the CF Labs blog. The existing template included a heavy focus on ideas for potential future projects but we decided to change the focus to projects that had already been completed. The template was designed to make use of the new features added into Wordpress 3.0.
